Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Announces Vacancies in Marketing and Medical Claim Departments

Kathmandu: Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited (SALICO) has announced multiple career opportunities in its Marketing Department and Medical Claim Department. The vacancies are open for qualified and experienced Nepalese candidates to be deployed at the company’s head office and branch offices inside and outside the Kathmandu Valley.
Under the Marketing Department, SALICO is seeking a few Assistant Managers to be stationed within the Kathmandu Valley. Applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree—preferably a master’s degree—in Banking & Insurance, Marketing, Economics, or Management, along with a minimum of 6 to 8 years’ experience in the general insurance industry.
Similarly, the company has opened positions for Senior Officer, Officer, and Junior Officer levels for its branches nationwide. Candidates applying for these roles must possess a bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines and have at least five years of experience in the general insurance sector.
For entry- and mid-level roles, vacancies are available for Senior Assistant, Assistant, and Junior Assistant across all branches. While candidates are expected to have 2 to 4 years of experience in the general insurance industry, fresh graduates are also eligible to apply for the Junior Assistant position. A bachelor’s degree in Banking & Insurance, Marketing, Economics, or Management is required.
In addition, SALICO has announced openings in its Medical Claim Department at the head office for Senior Assistant and Assistant positions. Applicants must have a minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in Nursing or other health-related fields, along with 3 to 4 years of experience in medical claims handling within the general insurance industry.
The company stated that remuneration and other facilities will be provided as per company rules.
Application Process
Eligible and interested candidates are required to submit their application, updated resume, copy of citizenship certificate, and relevant supporting documents through the company’s official career portal at online.salico.com.np/career within 15 days from the date of publication, i.e., by 14th Poush, 2082 (29 December 2025).
SALICO has clarified that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further selection procedures. Personal visits or telephone inquiries will not be entertained. The company also reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
